Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to include any improvements to the performance issues in Battlefield 2042, which includes framerate drops. In a new blog post, DICE outlined the contents of the Battlefield 2042 0.30 patch, which releases on December 2.

Although the last patch made things better, it's still leaving players frustrated. Bullets often don't deal damage to their targets as they should, leading to a lot of unceremonious gun fights and otherwise easily preventable deaths. One of the most prominent issues in Battlefield 2042 is hit registration.

EA's multiplayer game launched in the middle of November and was lambasted for coming across as unfinished thanks to server issues, a plethora of bugs, and constant performance issues. The upcoming Battlefield 2042 update will be its biggest patch to date and should improve the game by adding new enhancements, fixing gameplay issues, and much more. DICE has announced when Battlefield 2042 Update #3 releases the hundreds of issues being fixed, but it does seem to be ignoring some key issues - namely, performance.
